Artist Description:  Lady Gaga has been one of my favorite artists since her first single was released ten years ago. She is one of the few musicians today that not only writes and performs amazing music, she changes looks and personas with each release creating new conversations and visuals that are always sure to amaze. I plan on creating all of her albums but for the first I chose Born This Way, mostly because of the album cover art. This album was exhibited in Miami during Art Basel week. I started by using appliqué for her eyeshadow and lips. I then embroidered her hair in multiple colors of thread. The logo and album title are embroidered as a patch and applied to the album.
